When my brain can’t function in the morning to put an outfit together, I just rely on Abercrombie’s knit. It’s made from 100 percent merino wool, which sounds like it might be a recipe for itchiness, but surprisingly, it feels soft and smooth against the skin. I also dig the classic three-button collar, which gives it a slightly dressier edge than your average crewneck. The fit is also a nice balance, with enough room in the chest and stomach, in case I wolfed down a burger.
Now, I will say that the wool can get a little toasty, especially if you’re moving around a lot. But if your office blasts AC like it’s the middle of Antarctica, you should be just fine. Styling-wise, I’d wear it with straight-leg jeans and sneakers for a casual Friday, or swap in chinos and loafers when I want to look a little more put-together. It only comes in neutrals, which should be easy to pair with anything in your wardrobe.
